With Super Bowl XLVII behind us, the talk is now moving to next year’s Super Bowl, which is being held at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
Many people believe that Bon Jovi might provide the halftime entertainment at next year’s Super Bowl.. Any if you think about it, it makes perfect sense! When you think New Jersey, two names come to mind – Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. And The Boss already played the Super Bowl back in 2009.
Bon Jovi already has ties to MetLife Stadium, as they opened the stadium back in May 2010, and are coming back in July for two more shows. During a telephone press conference held two weeks ago, guitarist Richie Sambora, drummer Tico Torres, and pianist David Bryan said they’d love to play the Super Bowl.
It’ll be a chilly venue for sure, but we think Bon Jovi can heat things up with an electrifying performance!
