Peru has set a new record: 16,000 tickets for Bon Jovi’s upcoming concert were sold during the first day of sales, according to official information from the organizers.
Thousands of fans gathered outside the points of sale in Lima, waiting in very long lines to buy tickets for the American band’s first ever concert in Peru.
This makes an average of 1,800 sold per hour, surpassing the records set by Metallica (15,000) and Soda Stereo (12,000).
Bon Jovi is coming back to South America after 15 years.
The concert is scheduled for September 29th at San Marcos University Stadium, and tickets are still on sale; prices range between 570 soles (US$200) to 48 soles (US$17).
Thanks to Living In Peru for the info!
